The perfect asphalt seal is accomplished in three steps:

Preparation

Overlying grass is trimmed. The surface is completely cleaned of dirt and other debris. Interlock and fixtures are protected.

Repairs

If the driveway is showing signs of deterioration, we have several different methods to fix the problem areas. Cracks are filled with a tar and sand composite that dries to an appearance very similar to asphalt, resulting in cracks that are properly filled and barely visible. Potholes are repaired with either hot asphalt or cold-patch, whichever is required. If more intensive repairs are necessary, please call for more information.

Sealing

The sealant is then generously applied via a high pressure spray system. Because Blackmac® is a tar-based product, it is actually absorbed into the asphalt and will not chip or peel off. Our highly trained and experienced technicians ensure a professional application that is even, clean, and guaranteed.

After the work is complete, the driveway is blocked off to traffic. Pedestrians may use the driveway after 12 hours, and vehicles may be parked on the driveway after 48 hours.
